General Architecture


Sercos III operates using Fast Ethernet (100 MHz) technology. In order to achieve the throughput and jitter required in high performance applications, it operates in a master/slave arrangement exchanging cyclic data between nodes. The master initiates all data transmission during a real-time cycle. All data transmissions begin and end at the master (circular).   Next >>
